For Christmas I got a book of Literary Tattoos from my roommate Cari. I opened up to a random page and it was a tattoo of one of my favorite quotes from David Foster Wallace’s commencement speech; “This is Water”. I decided to go back and read the speech in an effort to understand why I loved it…

I feel like Florence Welch really deserves all of her success considering that she grew up with the name Florence Welch and probably had to deal with ‘real clever’ ginger comments on a daily basis.
This has probably been said before…but I have totally not kept up with the Kardasians. like, not even a little bit.
Does it irk anyone else that news anchors use iPads now? It used to be just a few sheets of (probably blank) paper but now it’s just an iPad sitting there on the desk. The news is just so desperate to be cool.

so yeah…pretty much everyone I originally worked with, i’ve fired. correlation: pretty much every coworker I was friends with on FB has now unfriended me.
don’t care. but it’s nice to know that people blame me for their inadequacies.
