the BF and i went to Monterey Bay this weekend. did the whole aquarium thing, remembered why i don’t like kid friendly museums, saw a baby great white shark (and a bazillion other fish), got my socks knocked off by how cool sea horses are in real life, stayed in a nifty hotel complete with balcony and fireplace (lux, dude), and woke up to the sounds of seagulls and seals (see above) or sealions… IT WAS RAD. I really like long weekends.
